Edit a Label

Change Label Color

Hover over a label in the left navigation panel. Click the down arrow that appears to the right of the label name. Click Label color to change the color.

Change Display of Labels (Show or Hide)

Click the down arrow. Check the label and message settings that you prefer.

Rename Label

Click the down arrow or label color to reveal label options and click Edit. Enter the new name. Click Save.

Delete Label

1. Click the down arrow or label color to reveal label options. Click Remove label.

2. Click Delete to remove the label from all messages that were tagged with that label and delete the label.

NOTES:
Deleting labels won't delete messages.
You can also edit and delete labels in the labels tab of your Gmail settings. [Gear >>> Settings >>> Labels Tab]

Create Sub-labels

1. Click the down arrow or label color to reveal label options and click Add Sublabel.

2. Enter the sublabel name. (The Nest label will already be checked. The rollbar will show the parent label.) Click Create.

3. The sublabel will appear under the parent label in the left navigation panel. You must click the arrow in front of the main label to reveal the sublabel.
